a. Make A Claim (supporting your thesis)
b. Support with evidence: Primary text summary/quotations Secondary text quotations/data (traditional research) Personal experience/examples (autoethnographic research)
c. Analysis: Explain how/why evidence supports the claim, but RELATE it back to the thesis!
3. Conclusion
Do not restate what has already been said! Leave your reader engaged with your thinking and subject. Must get at some new idea—look towards the future of your issue or explore the broader implications of your issue, analysis, or argument!
