Classroom Conduct

Classroom Conduct:

• OMG, try to ignore that snap, dm, or IG like you just received: As a courtesy to our entire learning community, please only use your phone for class-related stuff. If your cell phone becomes a frequent problem, I will speak to you after class, and, if I am hungry enough, will require that you bring a snack for our entire class at our next meeting.  Yes, this is my actual policy. 🙂
• Do what you gotta do to be on time:  Class will start promptly, and I get super distracted when y’all come in late.  Repeated tardiness will count as half absences.  Bummer. 😦
• Do what you gotta do to be AWAKE:  As I stated earlier, being in this class means that you are conscious throughout.  If you’re not awake, then you’re not really here, and that means you’re absent!
• Respect your peers and your fabulous instructor.  In this course every student has the right to learn, and I have the right to teach.  Any disruption of this process (putdowns, disrespect, bad attitude, etc.) will not be tolerated, and I will ask you to leave.
